New Beginnings

29/1/2018
So now the earth has a new beginning. Will we mess it up again? Noah was 600 years old when he and all his family and all the animals chosen, went into the boast and it rained for 40 days and nights.  the boat lift high above the earth with the boat floating safely on it.  All existence on earth was blotted out except for everything on the boat.  God didn't forget Noah and sent a wind  to blow across the earth and the waters started to subside.  150 days after the rains had begun the boat rested on Mount Ararat.  Another 3 months later other mountain peaks appeared. After another 40 days Noah sent a dove out of one of the windows and it came back not finding anywhere to rest.  After another week Noah tried again and this time the dove returned with an olive leaf in its beak after one more week Nosh released the bird again and this time it didn't come back indicating that there was enough earth for the bird to find a home. After another 29 days Noah opened the door to look and the water was gone.  Eight more weeks went by (Gee Noah must have been a very patient man). Then at last the earth was dry. Finally God said Noah could go out and release all the cargo.  Noah built an alter to praise Go, sacrificing some animals on it and God was pleased.  God promised never to flood the earth like that again and promised always Springtime, Harvest, Cold and Heat, Winter and summer, Day and night. Even though mankind's inclination is always for evil. So even though God acknowledges that mankind is still prone to be bad He let us go our own way anyway blessing everyone and thing with the command to repopulate the earth. And as we all know the sign He gave us to fulfil His promise was the rainbow. So we have our new beginning but still with the precursor to not get Evil again. I wonder what those first few days were after the flood (are we back to incest again with only one family to populate the whole world)?
Well keep pondering
Bye for now
