Bye Bye old earth hello new

27/1/2018
Meanwhile back in the boat or Ark as it is sometimes called all the animals and Noah and his family got cosy and stayed put as the storm raged outside, and water sprung from the earth. Now I've been on a few ferries.  The first one to Ireland from Fishguard  was very rough and I hung onto a toilet for practically 2 hours (well all the way). So I find it very difficult to imagine being on a boat with all those animals for 40 days or even longer.  As far as I know they had no scrabble or cards ,sick bags, TV,  GPS or WI/FI so what did they do all those days except look after the animals, eat sleep and have sex again. I can't imagine how they kept the carnivores from eating the others. I've seen floods on the TV in Africa and various other places prone to flooding but apparently this flood was so bad that nothing remained except that Ark that stayed on top of it.  It's like we have to forget about Adam and Eve because we're starting all over again.  The water destroyed everything except those in the Ark, covering the earth for 150 days.
Wouldn't we all like to have a clean slate sometimes and start all over again vowing not to make the same mistakes again. Most of us try to do this every year for our New Year resolutions.  For a handful of people it works but the majority of us give up after a very short time and go back to our old ways.
Keep tuned to see what happened to the New Earth and New Beginnings.

Bye for now
